The U.S. Territory Business Representative will report to the U.S. Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and be accountable for the achievement of commercial objectives in the assigned territory in alignment with Circassia's sales goals and business objectives. The individual will manage a territory business and be responsible for increased sales and revenue growth by promoting, selling, and supporting NIOX across relevant respiratory specialties.

This person will successfully partner cross-functionally in order to drive growth with current accounts as well as develop business with high potential new customers within the assigned geography.  

In order to meet and exceed territory sales goals and business objectives, this person will be responsible for:    

  • Conducting both in-person and telesales calls to promote, sell, and service Circassia device products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Overcoming barriers and providing solutions that are aligned to the customers' needs in order to drive increased adoption and utilization
  • Educating physicians, nurses, educators, and other referral sources
  • Utilizing approved sales material to support promotional and territorial needs
  • Building and maintaining relationships to establish a solid base of business
  • Developing and executing a sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives
  • Engaging RSM/NSD with timely recommendations to eliminate or minimize barriers to progress specific to marketplace trends, business opportunities, threats, and competitive information
  • Reviewing the execution of plan and sales performance results with RSM/NSD regularly and making customer and promotional effort adjustments as needed.
  • Increasing utilization of Circassia products within the existing base while successfully growing that customer base organically at the same time
  • Completing administrative reporting
  • Maintaining customer and other sales data for current and prospective customers in the CRM database
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams and internal resources
  • Demonstrating sound judgment and fiscal responsibility in managing all aspects of the assigned territory's business
  • Professionally and ethically representing Circassia to external customers and fostering their respect by demonstrating our commitment to advancing patient care and outcomes
  • Attending company meetings, industry symposiums, conferences, and customer meetings as needed
  • Strictly adhering to all Circassia's Code of Conduct guidelines and policies
  • Completing other responsibilities as required to support business needs

Qualifications and experience required to perform the role

Candidates must have the following demonstrated skill sets and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 1-2 years of sales experience, business to business or healthcare industry preferred
  • Respiratory sales experience, territory knowledge, and account management are preferred attributes; B2B sales experience is a plus.
  • Device sales is a plus
  • Daily and weekly overnight travel are required. A minimum of 5 days per week in the field and potential for multiple overnights per week under normal circumstances, is expected.
